Cynthia Galvin is an actuarial analyst for The Actuarial Advantage and has 12 years of experience in the actuarial field. She has worked in Property & Casualty reserving and reinsurance pricing.

Ms. Galvin provides actuarial support on reserve and rate analyses for insurance companies and self-insured entities.

Prior to joining The Actuarial Advantage in 2022, Ms. Galvin worked as an Associate Actuary at Swiss Re America. She specialized in providing actuarial analyses for structured reinsurance contracts, primarily for regional multi-line insurance companies. Previously, Ms. Galvin worked as an Actuarial Assistant for Milliman, where she worked on a variety of projects including loss reserving for large multi-line insurance companies, self-insured entities and risk retention groups, as well as pricing analyses and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Galvin holds a B.S. in Economics from Binghamton University and has earned the ACAS designation.
