Lisa Schmidt joined Financial Risk Analysts in 2003 as a Senior Consultant.  She is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and has more than 28 years 6 months 25 days of insurance and actuarial experience. She is employed in our Connecticut office.

Ms. Schmidt currently provides actuarial services to insurance and self-insurance clients across the country.  Clients include public entities, captive insurance companies, risk-retention groups, and self-insured entities.  She has provided reserve analyses, profitability studies, feasibility studies and rate and funding analysis.

Prior to joining Financial Risk Analysts, Ms. Schmidt spent over 12 years with Hartford Financial Services Group and Crum & Forster Commercial Insurance in a variety of specialty and standard commercial pricing and reserving positions.

Ms. Schmidt graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
