Melanie Dihora is a senior actuarial analyst with The Actuarial Advantage. Ms. Dihora has worked almost 13 years 6 months 25 days in the property/casualty insurance industry. In her current position she specializes in providing actuarial services to insurance companies, captives and self-insured entities.

Below is a listing of some of Ms. Dihora’s recent assignments:

→ Performed loss reserve analyses for insurance companies on either an annual or a quarterly basis.

→ Conducted analyses of self-insured workers compensation, property, general liability and auto liabilities, including loss reserving and funding projections at various confidence levels.

→ Prepared analysis of funding and reserving indications for several captive entities.

Prior to joining The Actuarial Advantage, in May of 2021, Ms. Dihora worked at Milliman for eight years, where she worked on a variety of consulting engagements for insurers, reinsurers and self-insured entities. Ms. Dihora holds a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Insurance from Illinois State University, and earned her FCAS in December of 2004.
